PwnageTool 4.2
to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPad, and now you can create the custom iOS 4.2.1 firmware to
untethered jailbreak iPad
on iOS 4.2.1. This guide will tell you how to untethered
jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 iPad
with PwnageTool 4.2.

How to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 iPad With PwnageTool 4.2

Step 1:

Download the latest PwnageTool 4.2. And make sure your
iTunes
is the latest version.

Step 2:

Connect your iPad with computer via USB cable.

Step 3:

Backup all data and important files of your iPad.

Step 4:

Open the PwnageTool you just downloaded and select expert mode, then select iPad. Step 5:

Select
iOS 4.2.1 firmware
.

Step 6:

Select “General” and click on the blue arrow to continue.

Step 7:

Save the custom
iOS 4.2.1 IPSW
file to the desktop, when it ask you to save.

Step 8:

PwnageTool will make the custom iOS 4.2.1 IPSW file and it will take about 10 minutes.

Step 9:

You will be ask to connect your iPad to the computer, once the iOS IPSW file has been built.

Step 10:

Now your iPad will enter in DFU mode.

Step 11:

PwnageTool will prompt you to launch iTunes, when your iPad successfully enter in
DFU mode

You will enter in iTunes Recovery mode, if you have done everything right.

Step 13:

Hold the ALT button and click restore, and point to the custom firmware you just created and complete the installation. And you will jailbreak iPad on iOS 4.2.1 with PwnageTool 4.2.
